
Kevin Rolland
Kevin Rolland is a freestyle freestyle skier and acrobatic French halfpipe. He is Olympic champion, world champion and three-time Xgames winners.
During his career, he won the title of world champion in 2009. He also competed in the World Cup where he has six podiums including three victories, in Park City on January 31, 2009 ahead of his compatriot Xavier Bertoni and on March 19, 2009 in La Plagne, these two victories allowed him to win the small crystal globe of the half-race disciplinePipe 2009 and obtained a third victory on 20 March 2011 again in La Plagne.
Previously in junior, he was half-pipe world champion in Airolo in 2007. He also takes part in many off-circuit contests such as «Tignes Airwaves» (he takes part in the big airet half-pipe). Finally he took part in the Winter X Games in 2008 in the superpipe event where he injured himself during the warm-ups while he had finished 3rd in qualifying before the finals, then those of 2009 with Xavier Bertoni, it is the latter who wins them, Rolland finished in 8th place.

On January 31, 2010, he won the Winter X Games in Aspen with a score of 95. He gets this score thanks to the three double rotations he has placed in his run, including a double 1260, which he was the only one to pass until recently.
On 10 March 2010, he won the first Winter X Games Europe in Tignes with 95.660 points ahead of Xavier Bertoni. He won the X-Games again on January 29, 2011 in Aspen, with a score of 93.66 The following season was a difficult year for him, not having been able to participate in the Winter X Games in Tignes because of a broken cruciate ligament.
On Tuesday, February 18, 2014, he finished third at the Sochi Olympics with a score of 88.60. He won the Winter X Games in Aspen on January 29, 2016. On May 2, 2019, Kevin Rolland was admitted to the Grenoble CHU after a crash in La Plagne.
