Legendary biathlete

Martin Fourcade is the only Frenchman to have won five Olympic gold medals.

 

This extraterrestrial biathlete is a five-time Olympic champion, six-time overall World Cup champion and eleven-time world champion between 2011 and 2017, 10 of them individually. He is the only biathlete in history to have won the overall World Cup standings six times in a row, in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.

He holds the record for winning a season (14 in 2017), winning crystal globes (26) and scoring points on a winter (1322 in 2017). He is considered one of the best cross-country skiers on the circuit, even lining up for a cross-country World Cup event in the 2012-13 season.

 

With seven Olympic medals (silver in the mass start in Vancouver 2010, gold in the pursuit and individual then silver in the mass start in Sochi 2014 and 3 ore medals in 2018), Martin Fourcade is the most decorated French athlete at the Winter Games.
