Alex Jaffray

Composer, producer and music columnist

Alex Jaffray is a composer for television and cinema, with a dozen of feature films and about thirty TV movies and TV shows (Claude Lelouch, Pascal Chaumeil, Charles Nemes, Laurent Tuel …).

He has composed and produced many sound identities of brands that you have in your ear without knowing it (Citroen, BNP, TF1, Renault, EDF, La poste mobile …) and for some flagship programs (Scenes of households, C à vous, Stade 2….).

He has created soundtracks for prestigious events for Cartier, Orange, SNCF, Hermès …

Alex Jaffray also hosts the musical column of Télématin on France 2, which gives him a privileged link with Ennio Morricone, Lalo Schiffrin, Hans Zimmer, Lenny Kravitz, Alexandre Desplat, Lang Lang or Sting…

In 2015, he innovates with a new format: Le Son d’Alex (Alex’s Sound), a short, fun and didactic program which immerses us us into the secrets and inspirations of legendary hits.

In 2021, France Bleu asked him to adapt this unique format for radio.

It was only one step to the long version of the Sound of Alex on stage, which takes the tone of his interventions, mixing anecdotes, bad faith, good humor, bits of his life and especially music.
